#Design

Pushing boundaries

This year, we expanded the horizons of web capabilities. We designed 3D coins for Pickselverse and pioneered our first-ever infinite zoom sequence on the web. Additionally, we introduced a fully immersive 3D sphere in WordPress. Our goal was to captivate users with cutting-edge, immersive technology.

Design systems for WordPress

Our team developed a custom design system tailored for WordPress. This system encompasses every component necessary to build contemporary WordPress websites using Gutenberg. Imagine something akin to Google’s Material Design1, but specifically crafted for WordPress.

Working closely with our design team, we are adopting more modular design practices. This shift enhances alignment between our teams, making the handoff from design to development smoother and more efficient.

Accessibility focused

Web accessibility continues to be a priority for us. We adhere to WCAG standards and are committed to building websites that meet these guidelines, ensuring the Web remains inclusive and accessible for everyone2.

Starter theme

We are continuously enhancing our starter theme, which significantly contributes to faster development cycles. This theme not only promotes more organized code but also improves accessibility and integrates global styles, streamlining our workflow and enhancing overall efficiency.

Headless projects

In 2024, we embraced headless architectures and new technologies. We undertook several headless projects, expanded our knowledge with new frameworks, and experimented with more complex data structures alongside our clients.

Animation in WordPress

Animation on the web is truly exciting! We’ve ramped up our projects involving animation and are exploring innovative ways to integrate it within WordPress. Specifically, we’re developing admin blocks that empower users to modify content within animation sequences independently, eliminating the need for a developer’s assistance. It’s a game-changer! 🤯
